Dust Free Friends is a manual for making a series of plywood furniture at home, designed by 6a architects. The rules are easy to follow, and even easier to change, to make best use of the sheet of plywood with the smallest number of cuts and least wastage.

September 20156a architects nominated for the 2016 Iakov Chernikhov International Prize
April 20156a architects has been nominated for the 2016 Iakov Chernikhov Prize.
The Iakov Chernikhov Prize is awarded every two years to young masters of contemporary architecture and is aimed at solving current social and cultural problems on the basis of humanistic principles in the art of architecture. It supports experimental, educational and research works in the field of innovative architecture and town planning. A jury of authoritative international architects will select the winner from nominees chosen by an international committee.
6a has been nominated alongside Studio Tom Emerson the practice's teaching and research studio at the Department of Architecture at eth Zurich.
Hôtel Wolfers
April 20156a architects’ limited edition furniture series designed for maniera will be exhibited in Hôtel Wolfers, Brussels. Built by Henry Van de Velde in 1929, the Modernist villa has remained unchanged since the 1970s. The undisturbed interiors will be home to the practice’s series Dust Free Friends and limited editions by artist Richard Venlet.

January 20156a architects and Richard Wentworth have produced an installation in Theater Objects: A Stage for Architecture and Art.
The first in a series of exhibitions that aim to initiate a dialogue between architecture and contemporary art, the exhibition is co-produced by luma Foundation and gta Exhibitions, eth Zurich.
